David R. Brittain has been recognized by a premier group of real estate lawyers in the country by being elected to membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.  College membership is by invitation only and is limited to persons who have established expertise in real estate law, who observe high standards of professional and ethical conduct, who have contributed substantially to improvement of real estate law and practice and who have a minimum of ten years experience in real estate law.
 
The College, organized in 1978, was started by lawyers active in other real estate bar groups to create an organization that would speak effectively about issues of real estate law, regulation and practice.
