Roberta Colton Elected to Trenam Kemker Management Committee

Roberta Colton was elected to Trenam Kemker’s Management Committee by the shareholders of the firm.  The 3 person committee is responsible for directing the firm’s practice management structure, long range strategic planning and marketing activities.  Ms. Colton is filling the seat left open by Tate Taylor, who served on the Management Committee for 3 years.  Mr. Taylor leads the firm's Wealth Planning and Preservation Group and he will continue in that role and his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and income tax planning for estates and trusts.

Ms. Colton has been with Trenam Kemker for 24 years and most recently was the practice group leader of the Business Reorganization and Bankruptcy Practice Group. She is a graduate of William and Mary College of Law where she received her law degree and the University of Virginia, where she earned a B.S. with distinction. In 1982, she received the Weber diploma, which is given to the law school graduate with the greatest professional promise.
