Three Trenam Kemker Lawyers Named Up & Comers

Trenam Kemker is pleased to announce that three lawyers, Rachel Albritton Lunsford, Amanda Taylor and Lori Vaughan were selected to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2009 Up & Comers.  The Up and Comer award honors rising professionals in the Tampa Bay area who are committed to excellence in both their work and community environments.

Rachel Albritton Lunsford joined the firm in June of 2008 as an associate in the Wealth Planning and Preservation Practice Group.  She focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, including wills and trusts, probate administration, and guardianship, and also practices in the areas of taxation and corporate and business transactions.

Rachel received her J.D., with honors, and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  Rachel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, with a minor in German, from the University of South Florida.  

Amanda Taylor joined the firm in February 2006 and practices in general business litigation with an emphasis on real estate and lending based litigation along with complex contract based disputes.  Amanda has a background in agricultural law, along with experience in representing clients in international arbitrations and compliance with International Traffic in Arms regulation.

Amanda received her bachelor's from the University of Florida in 2002 and earned her law degree magna cum laude in 2005 from the University of Florida with a certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law.

Lori V. Vaughan is a Shareholder with Trenam Kemker and is a member of the firm’s Business Reorganization and Bankruptcy Practice Group.  She joined the firm in 2007 after spending 8 years in the Business Reorganizations Group at Foley Lardner LLP.   Lori focuses her practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation representing Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, creditors committees, financial institutions, secured creditors and landlords in cases around the country.

Lori is a graduate of the University of Florida (J.D., with honors, 1998), and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with high honors, from Eckerd College in 1995.
