Robert “Bob” Decker joined Trenam Kemker in August 2009 as Senior Counsel in the Real Estate and Lending Transactions Practice Group.
Bob is a Board Certified real estate attorney. His practice includes real estate finance and development, affordable housing transactions, commercial real estate leasing and administrative determinations relating to real estate. Bob is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator. Prior to joining the firm Bob was a founding partner at Decker Beeler, P.A. in St. Petersburg.
Bob is currently a Commissioner for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. He is a past President of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, and has also held the following positions: Board of Trustees, St. Petersburg Bar Foundation; Chair, Grievance Panel 6A, The Florida Bar; and Chair, Practice Management & Technology Section, The Florida Bar.
In the community, Bob has been active in numerous committees and on several boards including Chair, Pinellas County Charter Review Commission; Chair, Board of Directors, All Children's Health System, Inc.; Chair, Board of Trustees, All Children’s Hospital; Chair, St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership, Inc.; Member, Board of Governors, St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce; Member, Eckerd College Board of Trustees; and President, Seminole Chamber of Commerce.
Bob received his B.S. and J.D. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is a former Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He is a member of The Florida Bar.
