Jade Turner is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Jade’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, and includes trust, probate, guardianship & fiduciary litigation, as well as insurance defense.

Representative Matters

Commercial Litigation
  • Successfully defended LLC members in arbitration brought by other member on claims for breaches of statutory and common law fiduciary duties, breaches of the LLC operating agreement, and for permanent injunctive relief, which sought to enjoin defendants from making business decisions without unanimous consent of all members. Prevailed on counterclaim to dissociate and terminate plaintiff from the LLC as a member and manager. Obtained favorable award of Defendants’ attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in defending the arbitration. Angela Perry v. John L. Conyers and Priscilla W. Conyers, et al., Case No.: 22-CA-005168, Circuit Court of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Hillsborough County, Florida.
  • Defended clients in breach of oral agreement proceeding; obtained dismissal of clients from lawsuit.
  • Represented Medicare Secondary Payer compliance company in interpleader action.
  • Represented corporation in breach of commission splitting agreement proceeding.
Probate and Trust litigation
  • Represented trust and estate beneficiaries in various undue influence proceedings.
  • Defended trustee in removal action.
  • Represented trustee in action against guardian of beneficiary involving improper use of trust funds.
  • Represented creditor of an estate where personal representative of estate previously denied claims; obtained personal property sought, as well as payment of all claims.
FINRA Arbitration
  • Represented beneficiaries of pay-on-death accounts in a FINRA arbitration against broker.
Insurance Defense
  • Defended third-party administrator in a breach of contract dispute; obtained summary judgment.
  • Defended wholesale insurance brokers against insureds in breach of fiduciary duty actions involving failure to procure adequate coverage.
  • Successfully set aside default and default judgment entered against insurance company for improper service of process.
