Private Client Services Group Growth Highlighted in Tampa Bay Business Journal for addition of Jennifer L. Griffin
In an article published by the Tampa Bay Business Journal on January 16, 2018, the growth of the firm’s Private Client Services practice group was featured as the firm welcomes Jennifer L. Griffin’s to the group. While high-net-worth clients seek guidance following the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, Griffin’s significant experience in wealth planning and preservation bolsters the firm’s ability to help navigate the changing landscape in estate planning.
Tate Taylor, chairman of Trenam’s executive board and group leader of the Private Client Services practice noted that the firm is on a pattern of sustained growth, adding that “after a decade of expansion, there’s both more wealth and people supervising that wealth who need assistance.” The group plans further expansion in tandem with the growing need for counsel as Tampa continues to attract more wealth.
“I think that if you want to be truly effective, you just have to listen to (the client) first and then glean and ask questions to find out what is going on in the family,” Griffin said. “You have to be very compassionate.” She added that it is important to her that clients see her as their advocate who they can depend on to help make big decisions.”
