Overview
Kelly Tackett is an associate in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of civil litigation matters, providing practical, strategic counsel through every stage of the dispute resolution process.
During law school, she served as a research assistant to Professors Andrew Hammond and Stacey Steinberg at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, contributing to scholarship in administrative law and children’s rights. She also interned with the Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit, where she gained courtroom experience and researched and drafted motions in criminal matters.
Kelly previously served as a Director of the Lee County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, where she helped organize continuing legal education programs, promoted community resources for legal professionals, and assisted with grant applications to support the organization’s initiatives.
