Overview
Micah Novey is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. Micah advises businesses, entrepreneurs, and founders across a wide range of industries on transactional and business matters. His practice encompasses entity formation, structuring, and governance, as well as mergers and acquisitions on both the buy and sell side.
In addition to his transactional work, Micah frequently drafts and negotiates commercial agreements, including technology, licensing, software, employment, and service agreements. Micah is committed to helping clients with complex business and legal challenges while achieving their growth objectives.
Prior to focusing on business transactions and corporate law, Micah practiced commercial litigation, gaining extensive trial experience and advising clients on navigating complex business disputes. This foundation, combined with his finance and accounting background, provides Micah with a unique, top-down perspective on risk, strategy, and enforceability, enhancing his approach to structuring deals and drafting agreements.
