Overview

Robby McDonald is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. He advises businesses and founders in a broad array of transactional and business matters, including formation, structuring and operation of legal entities, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements (with emphasis on technology, licensing, and software agreements), and other general business matters.

Robby is driven to assist entrepreneurs, builders, creators, technologists, and artists with their legal needs and has frequently represented clients engaged in areas such as emerging technology and arts and entertainment. He is active in the startup and entrepreneurial community in and around Tampa Bay.

During law school, Robby clerked for the general counsel of Raymond James Trust, as well as the Honorable Ronald Ficarotta, Chief Judge of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida (ret.).
