Overview
Garret Barnes is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Lending Transactions Practice Group. He previously served as a summer associate at Trenam.
Before joining the firm, Garret gained experience managing complex real estate loan portfolios, underwriting new business opportunities, and supporting financings across residential, multifamily, and commercial projects.
Garret earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, where he was an Articles and Symposia Editor for the Stetson Business Law Review and served as an Ambassador to incoming law students. He received his B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University.
Outside the office, Garret enjoys long-distance running, hiking, and road biking—pursuits that have taken him across the United States and into ultramarathon races.
