Trenam Law is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys between Tampa and St. Petersburg. In St. Pete, Richard Earle joins as senior counsel in the firm’s Real Estate and Lending Transactions Practice Group. In Tampa, Nathan Diehl joins as senior counsel in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, and David Petrantoni joins as an associate in the Employment Law Practice Group.

Diehl is a Senior Counsel in firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing clients in matters involving construction litigation, suretyship matters, indemnity, construction contract drafting, professional liability claims, and complex commercial disputes. Diehl has been named by Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in construction litigation for the past four years and by The Best Lawyers in America as part of their “Ones to Watch” for commercial litigation for the past five years.
Diehl earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his B.S. from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science.
Earle is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate and Lending Transactions Practice Group. Earle has served the St. Petersburg community for over 50 years and brings deep knowledge and longstanding relationships within the St. Petersburg legal and business community to Trenam. Beyond his legal practice, Earle serves as an assistant priest at St. Vincent’s Episcopal Church and served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of the South from 2019-2021.
Earle earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, his M.S. from Episcopal Divinity School and his B.A. from the University of the South.
Petrantoni is an associate in the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. Before joining Trenam, he practiced at a Miami boutique firm focused on civil litigation and white-collar defense. While in law school, Petrantoni served as a research assistant and competed as a member of the University of Miami Trial Team. He was also a member of the Miami Law Innocence Clinic, president of the Society of Bar & Gavel and submissions editor for the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review.
Petrantoni earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his M.S. and B.S. from Florida State University.
