Trenam Law is pleased to announce that William “Bert” McBride has graduated Leadership Tampa as a member of its Class of 2025. Leadership Tampa is a prestigious program, run by the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, that highlights and engages emerging leaders dedicated to making a difference in the Tampa Bay community.
“Bert has quickly emerged as a respected leader in his firm, profession and community, and we are grateful for the example he brings to our halls every day,” said Nelson Castellano, Trenam Law’s Managing Shareholder. “We’re proud of Bert for this well-deserved achievement, and we look forward to witnessing his continued commitment to leadership and service in the Tampa Bay region.”
McBride is a Shareholder at Trenam and Co-Leader of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He represents individual business owners, companies and partnerships – both small and large, and commercial landlords in a variety of complex matters in both Federal and State courts. Prior to pursuing a legal career, McBride served as an Intern in Washington, D.C., for Congresswoman Kathy Castor’s office and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Founded by the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Tampa is an intensive executive leadership program that introduces a diverse group of participants to gain insight into the major facets of the greater Tampa Bay community through educational sessions, tours and candid conversations with community leaders.
Since 1970, Leadership Tampa has introduced its class members to major facets of the Tampa Bay community through an intensive professional development course to challenge members to see their community as they never have before.
Class members participate in a “behind-the-scenes” look of Tampa Bay and take part in experiences including Partner with a Hero, teacher shadowing days, and other activities that provide an in depth look at Tampa Bay, challenging them to give back and grow their community.
McBride earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
