Trenam Law shareholder Alicia Koepke has been named Volunteer of the Year by The Florida Bar Labor and Employment Section for the second consecutive year. Koepke is heavily involved with the Employment Law Section as a member of the executive council, legal education director, editor of section articles for The Florida Bar Journal and co-chair of the local Voluntary Bar Committee and Communications Committee.

The Labor and Employment Section of The Florida Bar aims to serve and support members through opportunities for education, leadership, networking, professionalism and public service, and by providing quality programs, publications, scholarships and awards related to the field of labor and employment law.
At Trenam, Koepke serves as leader of the Employment Law Practice Group and previously served as co-leader of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She focuses her practice on employment and business law and related litigation, regularly advising companies of all sizes on a wide range of business and employment issues. In addition to advising and conducting trainings for her clients, Koepke conducts workplace investigations and represents clients in business and employment disputes before government agencies, in arbitration and mediation and in state and federal courts.
Beyond her volunteer service with The Florida Bar Section of Labor and Employment Law, Koepke is active with several professional and community organizations. Nationally, she is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law. Locally, she has served in several board and committee leadership roles for The Tampa Connection, A Brighter Community, Inc. and The University of Tampa. She is a member of the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2010.
Koepke has earned numerous distinctions at the local, state and national level, such as consistent inclusion among Tampa Magazine’s Top Lawyers List, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Florida Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America. She was also recognized by Business Leader as a Tampa Top 50 Entrepreneur and an Up & Comer by the Tampa Bay Business Journal in 2008.
Koepke earned her law degree from the Stetson University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida.
