November 3, 2025 – TAMPA, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce that managing shareholder, Nelson Castellano, was once again named in Florida Trend’s 2025 Florida 500 list, which identifies the top 500 business leaders across major industries in Florida.
Florida 500 honorees are distinguished individuals who have demonstrated impact beyond their companies, placing a significant emphasis on community service and philanthropy.

Castellano has practiced at Trenam for over 30 years. He previously served as co-chair of the Business Transactions Practice Group before becoming the managing shareholder in 2023. His practice focuses primarily on corporate and business matters, including capital rising transactions, venture capital transactions, purchase and sale transactions, and compensation and equity arrangements, among other areas.
Castellano’s leadership also extends to several professional and community organizations. He is co-chair of the American Bar Association Small Business Section’s Task Force on Private Placement Broker-Dealer Registration Castellano currently serves on the board and executive committee for Florida Venture Forum, the state’s largest support and networking organization for entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. He is also active with Vistage Group 2095 and the Young Presidents Organization.
In the community, Castellano serves as a board member with Tampa Bay WaVE and Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay. He is also a member of the Lowry Park Zoological Society board of trustees and is active with the Association for Corporate Growth Tampa Bay.
For his legal service and active role in the community, Castellano has been recognized with numerous honors and distinctions throughout his career. In 2022, he was recognized in the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Awards and with the Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay Vanguard Award. Castellano is also consistently listed as a top attorney by the industry’s most prestigious local and national rankings, including Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Martindale-Hubbell, Florida Super Lawyers, Florida Trend Legal Elite and Tampa Magazine’s Top Lawyers List.
Castellano earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Florida State University.
