Trenam Law is pleased to announce that Macgregor (Mac) Hudson has been accepted into the Tampa Connection Class for the 2025-2026 term. The year-long program exposes class members to leadership development and social and community service opportunities while immersing them in the local community.
“Mac has avidly pursued community involvement and volunteerism since his days as a student, so it is no surprise that he was selected as a member of this year’s class,” said Nelson Castellano, managing shareholder at Trenam . “As a firm so entrenched in Tampa’s business and civic communities, we are thrilled that Mac is is taking on this valuable opportunity to develop as a leader and continue to expand his network in the local Tampa Bay area as he grows in the profession.”
Tampa Connection’s mission is to prepare class members to become active volunteers and leaders in the Tampa Bay community while building professional relationships. The program facilitates community involvement opportunities, helps members develop leadership skills and educates members on current local issues and personalities in the Tampa Bay area. Tampa Connection class members are also given an opportunity to form business contacts and friendships with current class members, board members, and alumni through networking in a professional, organized setting.
The Tampa Connection program specifically targets local businesses, professional firms, entrepreneurs and individuals all seeking meaningful ways to contribute to the Tampa Bay community.
At Trenam, Hudson practices in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. He works with businesses and organizations throughout multiple industries focusing on a broad range of transaction-based services, including both buy and sell side mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structure, contract drafting and negotiation. While in law school, Hudson was a research assistant and member of various legal societies including ones focused on business, aviation and space, intellectual property and entertainment, art and sports law.
Hudson earned his J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law and his M.B.A. and B.S. from the Florida State University College of Business.
